We have been reading about eating pikopiko. Pikopiko is a native fern that can be eaten.

Parnell pools

I have made a google drawing and a some writing to go with it hope you enjoy. Yesterday i went to parnell pools with my brother and sister and my nana and we got changed. Then we hopped into the water and i went into the deep one and it wasn’t as deep as i thought as would be so i started jumping off the edges. And when i jumped off i started to notice that the deep part was where i was standing then i started swimming and i jumped off again and again and i started to jump off into the ring to keep you safe then i had to go home.

Joshs Holiday highlight recount

On Sunday my family and I went to Okahu Bay for a touch tournament. Setting up the tent was easy. We had to wait for the judges to call our family name. Our name was TEAM HOTU. Finally it was our turn to play our game. We versed people that we knew. There were lots of people from Pt England School. We had heaps of subs as well. Sadly we lost lots of games but I was happy that we drew 1 game. Later on that day we thought we had no more games. But suddenly they said we had to play 1 more. Everyone was feeling tired. We walked over to the field suddenly we had lots of energy and could play again. After the game we were all very exhausted. Aunty maata was cooking our barbecue because everyone was really hungry, i wasn’t hungry i was so thirsty. When everyone finished eating we went to get free ice-cream. finishing our ice-cream we packed up ready to go home.

Swimmer Armour

Yesterday me and my cousins Zane and Kaycee and my mum my dad and my brother and sister went to the pools in panmure. We went on our bikes when we got there there were not that much people in the pool because it was COLD then we went on the diving board and the water slide and that was the best thing that I did in the holiday.

And when we got into to the pool it was so COLD that I was freezing when I got out then I went on the diving board it was cold and I went to the water slide lots of times it was cold and dark and people were screaming yelling and shouting Loudly. 

Then we went into the inside pool it was cool and we saw the year 8s like Darius and other people and me and my cousin Zane were swimming in the lane where people practise swimming. We Learnt how to do bake strokes. 

What I did for Christmas

What I done for Christmas is I got a watch a handball and I got glasses that are the circle ones and me my brother and sister got was a drink Felton. I got a hat with the letter of my first name J and I got a water balloon blow up thing to and me and my brother got a water gun and a scooter and it was a MGP
