Why we use a knife and fork

Why do we use our knife and fork to eat with?

Keeping clean how can we keep clean?
How we keep clean is when we wash our hands before eating and by eating with our knives and forks. If we don’t use our knives and forks we will get germs in our mouths or on computers of any device.

Bite sized pieces
Bite sized pieces is if you steak or meat is to hard you cut it in half then you can so that it will be better to chew so you can’t choke on anything hard to bite like you steak or your meat and any kind of meat so using your knives and forks is the best.

Use your manners
How you can use your manners we use our manners by saying thank you saying the prayer doing the dishes and help set up the table for dinner or a celebration like christmas new years or someones birthday.

Why we use a knife and fork
We use a knife and fork because we have to keep our hands clean and never eat with your hands because we will get germs on phones, computer and different kinds of things

Year 5 & 6 camp

Yesterday I went on the kayaks with my  camp team called Caretakers. Our instructor was Mr Burt we learnt how to kayak it was very difficult  for some people but I was scary for me because people or me and my buddy might fall out. Because I was about fall but I got the hang of it because my buddy taught me.

There where rotations because we were taking turns and we could go for a swim and I knew how to do a single kayak because I had lots of training with my buddies so I could be more confident so if it is tough I will just remember what to do
