Titanic Timeline Activity

This is an activity that I have finished it is about the titanic and it sinking hope you enjoy

On April 14 the titanic hit an iceberg on the Atlantic ocean so the captain called through the radio. 
For help but so the people sent in some boats to save the people so while the water got halfway through captain smith and the guards let only women and children.

So when the titanic was close to the top the funnel collapsed then the titanic started to snap.

So when the life boats set off but the ships that were going to save the others they were half-an-hour away.So when it got to midnight the water started to get 2x fuller

Badminton Recount

I have wrote a recount about badminton because this is a our last week of badminton hope you enjoy. Every thursday we go badminton so we can learn some new technique about badminton here are some of the technique’s we learn’t backhand, forehand, we also do a warm right before we start our warm up is stuck in the mud.

So the rules are if someone touches you have to put your hands up then someone has to double hi-5 you. Now here are some techniques for badminton. Backhand Backhand is when the back of your hand is facing your opponent backhand is a great technique to use or badminton because it makes the shuttle go higher so you can win against your opponent.

 Forehand Forehand is a technique but the best to beat your opponent forehand is when you put your hand up high so if your opponent hits high the forehand technique is the best thing to use for a high shuttle. Badminton makes me feel happy because we get free time this week because its our last week doing badminton.

Titanic Letter

On a link called letter generator I wrote a letter to Clive palmer. He is the creator of the Titanic 2. The Titanic II will be on its first trip in 2018. Hope you enjoy my letter that I wrote.

Hi clive palmer i am josh and i would like to give you  some tips. You can remeber to do a drill with the life boats and if the boat hits another ice berg you will know the drill.

and you can do a call out in the microphone if theres danger and you can put more look outs up on the ships and tell them what to look out for so the whole ship will be prepared.

So they know the drill so the drill should be run, get out, get on the life boats check if there all the people on the boat so they will all be safe for anything.

George and the Marvellous Medicine Review

The start of the story

This is a story about a boy called George. He had a grandma looking after him and she was an old grouch. George says so her grandma waiting for her medicine and George made a new medicine that will make her explode so he went around his dads farm. Then put some of some animal pills then he was in the bath room and put a whole bottle of tooth paste.

What I like about the book is when George made the Medicine and gave it to the chicken then it became taller and taller and taller that it was as nearly as tall as Georges Grandma. The chicken had smoke coming out of it beck.


I think adults should read it because they would learn how to make medicine for animals and so they can make pills or know where to get animal pills to.

Sink or float

Why do some things float while others sink? If the thing is heavier then it will sink, but if it is lighter then it will float if you put a lemon in the water with no skin or a lemon with skin they bot will float

Thung chai

Today we have been learning thung chai. Thung chai is a boat made out of bamboo and what i've learnt from this book is that the people have a tide mark to see if the tied is low or high. Then I knew that the chrildren have jobs to like helping catch the fish and helping there mother if there is a big catch to sort the fish out. Then they can help there father bring the thung chai and how long it is from New zealand to Qui nhon is 20h and 55 minutes. Hope you enjoy

Holiday highlight recount

This is my holiday highlight recount of me and my brother and Papa at mount eden In the holiday I went to Mt Eden. With my papa and my brother When we got there we played on the park but it was slippery because it was raining the other day when we found out it because it was wet and we were slipping on the way there then we went to the mountain. When we got there we were tired because we had to walk up the stairs and when we got to the top we went into the key house. but me and my brother were playing on the computer and looking at the pictures. Then we were playing basketball outside the key house. Then we went to get lunch at the shop then me and my brother had to walk all the way up the mountain because we couldn’t eat in the keyhouse if you did you would be told to go outside. then me and my brother went to the park we went on the flying fox there were lots of people to. But when we had to go back to the key house was at 8 to 10 then we had to walk all the way up the stairs again then we saw our papa in his truck looking for us. Me and my brother & papa had a great day out mount eden.
