Miss Universe visitors

Yesterday afternoon we had visitors that are called miss university students they would want to come entrepreneurs. The 20 contestants are going to the Philippines manilla if one of them wins the competition they might compete against a person that comes from America & Australia they could compete against them so they can represent New Zealand.



They talked about enterprising and where they worked and one of them were 19 years old and Monique worked at Flava & ZM Monique had a competition called the chicken money and someone was dressed in a chicken costume and they had a leaf blower that blew out money worth of $500 a they where competing for a beauty padgeant.

How to prevent yourself from getting sick

Winter is a time of year when lots of people getting sick from various. Germs love the winter, because they spread, people get sick then cof on there hand then touch thing because it is cold. It always gets on your clothing, you need to keep yourself warm, and also need to wear the right attire that means the clothes like Jumpers, Sleeve tops, Jackets.

You need to have a good hygiene so you won’t get sick, a right diet can also help a lot with your cold, washing your hands so you won’t pass on germs to other people, using hand sanitiser so you don’t get your germs when you shake someones hand, and you could use tissues so you can’t sneeze on your hand then get someone else sick.

The time that germs don’t come around is when it is sunny so you can’t sneeze cough or even use a tissue to wipe up the snots in your nose. Summer is really good so you can get better  a germs can’t get you.

The worst way to pick up germs is touch other people touch the toilet seat and even touch the door knobs at home or at school germs spread around everywhere it is the coldest time of year because people cough touch everything then you end up sick and that is the worst time to pick up germs because the flu academic.

The best time germs are gone away is in spring, summer & autumn, summer is always sunny so you can get out there and do stuff that you like to do outside like sport and going to the pools and the beach for fun and you can do what you like to do.

Attitude talk

On Wednesday we got a visitor called Dan he was from an organisation he talked about having friends and about what friendships there are Like Backstabbing, Quantity VS Quality, Being yourself, & Boy friendships & Girl friendships, Differences between Girls & Boys.


Dan was very funny he told us about when he went to camp a person had corn beef then threw across the dinning hall and then it got someone in the back and they both became friends ever since.
Dan's other story was in the holidays he was really board then he got all his friends over then they went outside then Dan saw a trolley then he told one of his friends to push him then he imagined that it would be cool because he thought he was going to do a forward flip and land in the bushes but he never landed in the bushes he face planted in a car park.




Dan played a game to find out what country he's from and he is from South Africa and the other story he told us was when he was setting up his gear then he heard some students trying to find what country he is from the 2 boys were arguing and then 1 of the boys said he's Asian and he said no he is Australian and he said he was LA and he said lower Auckland Then we thanked him then he left.
