Mr burts korereo about WW1

On friday Mr Burt came to the senior block to talk about WW1 technolgy did you know Mr burt's grandfather was the first person in his neighbourhood to have a bicycle and he told us about when his granfather went to war and everything that happened at war. 


Mr Burt told us that the New Zealand army had airplanes with guns under the wings of them and the germans had airplanes that could turn really sharp so If you were in war you were chasing the german plane it could just loop and get to the back of your plane easy.


Mr burt told us that we had tanks but the germans had tanks that looked funny to the New Zealand Soldiers but the tank was a bullet proof if the bullet from the New Zealand Soldiers hit the german tank it could only put one dent in it.
