Holly and the frog prince

this is a story about a frog and a girl Once upon a time there was a girl called holly. And when it was the holidays here mum was reading her a story about a princess and a frog and after the story holly rushed to the window and said i am going into my pool. And mum said we don’t have a swimming pool. and then it was raining all day and one day holly went outside with her raincoat on and went into her sandpit. And then holly saw a frog and the frog just stared at holly. And then holly sat down and thinked that a prince is cool to play with and then holly screwed up her mouth and kissed the frog. Then the frog turned into the ugliest prince holly ever saw and as soon as the prince could even blinked holly kissed the ugly prince again.

tuatara and mango the shark

here is a story about a tuatara and a sharkOnce upon a time there lived a shark called mango and a tuatara and one morning they saw a fish party. And tuatara said to mango there is more fishermen and mango asked how many are there and then tuatara said about forty of them said tuatara. and when the fishermen went into their canoe. tuatara went up close and overturned the boat and then a taniwha jumped out from the water and then the fishermen fell out of the canoe and as fast as a flash mango the shark ate the fishermen. after tuatara was grumpy that mango ate all the fishermen and then mango said to tuatara why don’t you go on land said mango and then tuatara went to the shore and frightened the fishermen and then mango called tuatara to come back and tuatara shaked his head because the sun is warm and i can catch food easier and now tuatara stays on land and mango lives in the sea.

Why a crocodile has no tongue

this a story about a crocodile having no tongue Once upon a time there was a crocodile and a fox. And the fox was going to a wedding and he went to the river to see her friend crocodile and then fox asked crocodile for his tongue and crocodile only agreed if fox will give crocodiles tongue back. And when fox and crocodile got there fox was singing and everyone said who wonderfull voice is that. and when the wedding was over one of the wedding members said to fox can you sing one of your songs to me. And then fox moved all the way to the fields and never went back to the river ever again and you will always find crocodile at the edge of the creek.

Immersion Assembly

this is our writing about our immersion assembly On Monday morning there was a special Assembly. It was the first day of the term. When we got there we saw teachers dressed up in costumes and and we saw some other teachers that were different characters from Fairytales. Mr Burt was dressed up as James Taylor. There were teachers acting very silly. Mr Leafau had a Quiz for Team one that was called Who am I. The children in team one had to try guess who they were. And there were characters from stories and movies like Nemo and evil witch. Team 2 and 3 teachers performed as well. Team four was the next act and their item was the Three little pigs. Miss Garden was the narrator. The little pigs said goodbye to their mum and went off to build their own houses. Miss Lavakula was the first little pig, she went and bought some hay from a lady and built her house in the field. Then the big bad wolf smelled bacon. The little pig ran into her house. Mr Marks was the wolf, he said “little pig little pig let me come in” and the pig said “not by the hair of my chinny chin chin”. The wolf shouted “then I’ll huff and and i’ll puff and blow your house down”, and he ate the little pig. Miss Ouano was the second little pig and she built her house out of sticks.When she was relaxing the big bad wolf came along and he said “little pig little let come in”. “Not by the hair of my chinny chin chin” replied the pig. The wolf huffed and puffed and blew the stick house down. The wolf ate the pig. Mr Somerville was the third pigk and he was very smart. He built his house out of bricks. Along came the wolf. He knocked on the door and said “little pig little pig let me come in”. The pig said “not on the hair on my chinny chin chin”. Then the wolf huffed and puffed but he couldn't blow the house down. The little pig laughed at the wolf. The wolf had an idea. He would climb down the chimney. The clever little pig heard him, he put a big pot of water on the fire to boil. When the wolf came down the chimney he fell into the pot. The wolf got burnt from the hot water and ran away. I enjoyed Immersion Assembly and all the items. I can’t wait to see what they will do next term.
