The 1st day at Pt England 2015

Yesterday we started school and now we are year 7. Yesterday we went to assembly for our new year at pt england then when assembly was over we got settled into our new class. the class that I am in now is class 2 then when we started the day Mrs Clark gave us sheet then we did our blog profile the we did art until the afternoon.

The wedding

On Saturday we went to a garden for my cousins wedding. When we got there the wedding was already finished so we went to a hotel for the celebration.


When we got to the hotel there was thousands of people there. when we were celebrating we did some performances for money to buy them a car when me, my brother and my two cousins performed we got up to $150 from  everyone in the room.


When we were done performing we had desert and went back to our table to eat when we finished my cousin tanu was dancing with his wife and when the wedding was over everyone was cleaning up.

Finally we went to my cousins house for the day and went back home for a sleep. The next day went to church to celebrate there marriage again because we never celebrated it properly on Saturday so we celebrated it properly.

   

Camp Bentzon / Kawau island recount

On Tuesday the 18 of November we went to Kawau island / Camp Bentzon for 3 days. After we got there we took the bags and food in then when that was done we went for a hike up KILLER HILL to the beach  .

After we got to the beach we went to the shore to throw some shells rocks and we even found some oysters and pipis then we went to our cabins to unpack our stuff from our bags.

Then when we got unpacked we went to the beach for a swim. There were 2 options we could do boming off the wharf or going to the shore to swim. Then when we did that we had competitions for who does the biggest bomb of the wharf

.Then on Wednesday we watched a movie about Pirate that would never die and that movie was really cool to watch because it was like the chase when the Pirate was chasing after the guys who took the princess.  

On Thursday we had our concert and we did spotlight and we got awards for who got back the most and Me, John Lee, Jessica. Then on Friday we packed our bags to get ready to go back home.

But then It was the last day of camp then we had our sports like Bush Baseball, Volleyball, Touch & Swimming but what I liked the most was Touch & Volleyball Then when we finished all our sports we had lunch for the last time and waited for the fairy.

Then when we got to the wharf we went to the park then we had a little run around and the bus picked us up. Then we were at school waiting for our parents. The Highlight of the day for me was Spotlight & Sailing & Kayaking.

Manaiakalani

Yesterday we went to Sylvia Park to watch our films that we made on the biggest screen I ever saw It was really cool to because we got to watch everyone's film.

The time we started was at 8:30 so we went to the hall to get the kids we had to look after. Then when we got to Sylvia park we went inside the movie thearter and watched the schools film.

The films that I liked was Day Dreamer, and Keep in touch. Those were the best movies I saw and they were really, really funny.

Guy Fawkes

On Friday Me my brother & sister & cousin did Guy Fawkes at the back of her house. At 8:00 we did Guy Fawkes at the back of my cousins house.


When we did fire works we only had sparklers and One Firework So we bought more fireworks and we did it until 9:30pm and went back inside.

After that we watched a movie then we went back home and watched TV until midnight and went to sleep.







   

Roosters vs warriors

On the holidays I went to watch the Roosters vs Warriors with my papa when we got there we were waiting for the line to go down because the line was long and then 5 minutes later we got in the stadium.


It was really cool but the best player was Shaun Johnson because he caught Daniel Tupou when he was going for a try a but the warriors still lost to the roosters.



But the warriors did a good job and the player of the match was Shaun Johnson and everyone was cheering but the player of the day for the roosters was Michael Jennings.

How to be a Good and Successful Point Englander is being a good listener, and a kind person. You have to work hard so that you can get higher in Literacy and Maths. So you can become a better person so you can get a reputation at anything you want.

You have to Achieve your learning goals and get the best marks at learning as possible. If it doesn't work you just keep trying at everything you failed at. The thing you need to do if you want to be a successful Point englander is if you listen to your parents, relievers, and also the teacher.

Listening to the teacher is the main thing to be a good successful Pt Englander so you can get the ideas and get what they're saying if you don’t you will have no idea what to do and go down. In learning but no one wants that to happen to them because they want to strive to succeed for a good job & reputation.

An good job means a good life for you and everyone else if they be a good person a good listener and a polite and nice person so you or someone else can be whatever you want to be in the future. So thats if you succeed in school then high school then college after that you go to university where you can learn how to do stuff you want to be good at

Reading a map

Today we have been working on our reading maps work sheets. We have to learn how to read maps, compasses, you have to find your direction.

Do you want to get sunburned ?  if you don’t read this“ You need a hat, sunglasses and sunblock.

You have to wear a hat to protect your head from the sun a trucker cap is the worst hat because it only protects the face.  Not the back of your head  and so you don’t get skin cancer on your head wear a fully covered hat.  

You have to put sunscreen on to your body arms and legs so they won’t get burned from the sun and skin cancer.  And a headache and don’t get burned when you're swimming or having a walk on the beach.

3 You will have to put on some glasses because you can’t see properly and you might get blind and get an headache.  If you don’t wear sun glasses you don’t wear sun glasses you might get a headache and get blind from the brightness of the sun.

The way you stay safe in the sun is that if you were wearing a hat, sunglasses, and some sunscreen.

Going to Hawks bay

Last week I went to Hawks Bay. With my aunty and my brother. When we packed our bags my mum gave us $20 each when we got there we went to our room in the hotel.


The next morning we had breakfast and got ready to go to the pool when we finished our breakfast we went to the pool for a swim then we went to the hotel for a sleep. 


Then the other morning we packed our bags for tomorrow because we had to go back to Auckland but then we went to the museum while we were inside we where it was packed with tourist that came from England, France, and Italy.


We went everywhere in the museum but the best part was when there was a dinosaur show because the dinosaur was friendly and I just found out that it was controlled by an remote.

Ninja turtles

On Thursday i went to watch Ninja Turtles at Sylvia Park. When we got ready we waited until my dad got back from work the time we had to go was at 1:00 so we spend our time on the my ps3. When my dad got back we got in the car to papatoe to see my Brother Isaiah and my, Sister Eva, because they had a sleepover and my aunt, and cousins, When we got their they were getting ready. After when they were ready they got ready we headed off to Sylvia park.

When we got their everybody was yelling screaming then they got told of by my older cousin pa semi and my aunt. Then they gave us a count to see how many and if there was nobody lost like at school then we went to the movies and when you look at the wall it was filled with all the famous actors in new zealand like Stan walker, Robbie magasiva.

When we went in to the theater we got our drinks and stuff. Then we had to share with the person next to us until the movie turned on my cousin was still talking and everyone in the theatre told her too shhh but she was still talking but when the Ninja turtle movie was on she was very quiet’’.

Trip to museum

Yesterday class 6, 7 & 8 went to the Museum. We went to learn about Maori culture. Our teachers and parents went with us and we travelled on the bus.

My favourite part was the volcano room. It was a house that you got to go inside and then it shook. My whole group went into the room together. I decided to wait outside because I gets sick. It was so loud and people were screaming. I was glad I didn’t go in.

Creative writing

My phone was ringing i tried to stop it but i kept making a noise. So I said who is it in a deep dark voice (i’m coming for you) then i dropped my phone and there were too big dark shadows at the back of me my head slowly turned around. There was potato bag went around my head i was suffocating.

I am Josh Williams from the police i am 24 years of age I have a brother 2 Big brothers Harlem Williams, & Michael Williams’’. They are both 26 years of age and they are twins they were born October 8th on 1987. on the present day at night Harlem a phone call when he heard what he said he dialed the police to help.

When Harlem was waiting for the police someone was knocking on the door it was michael and his agent friends they got backup and when the police arrived they got out there bats & everything else Josh was hung up.

Josh was hung up in a big chamber he had knife marks and blood all over his skin everywhere but when Josh asked who he was and to let him down then it collapsed then he was on the ground waiting for the person to come when he came out Josh got knocked out from a punch that he got from the murderer.
